Seasonal Leaves - Small Embroidery with Feathers

A small embroidery art piece, perfect for those small spaces and empty nooks on your walls. 

This little artwork is filled with wild leaves and autumnal flowers and crowned with the addition of real pheasant feathers (ethically sourced at my local city farm where I volunteer!). Feathers bring beautiful softness, levity, and playful hues of colours, so having them among thicker, more solid textures of threads adds an interesting duality and contrast while blending in with the overall colour palette.

The backside of the embroidery is closed up, sealed and signed, to keep any messy threads and ends on the back securely in place and hidden away.

For anyone who appreciates traditional cosy crafts and natural, fibrous textures, this piece combines the aesthetics of flora and fauna in one precious little piece of art.
