About Me

(As in Carolyn, not Caroline!)

A few things about me, the artist and creator behind MoonCatsDesign:

• ​​"ADHD-artist"​ - Being interested in *everything* has lead to the assortment of art you can find at MCD; I'm a proud "collector of hobbies" and am unable (and unwilling) to niche down.
• My favourite art medium has been watercolour but in the last few years I have added: acrylics, gouache, oil pastels, calligraphy, polymer and air-dry clay, pyrography (woodburning), embossing powders, fore-edge painging, foil printing, embroidery, .... and recently I learned how to spin with a drop spindle!
• German expat living in London, England, with my English hubby and our two furry girls.

• I value communication and transparency, so I hope that if you have feedback/critique/requests/questions, you will reach out to me :)
• I try my best to send out orders and custom requests on time but because of my medical issues (all mostly under control!) I always want to make sure to give people a heads-up *just in case*.
• ​I love re-using and up-cycling. So please don't be suprised or offended if your outer packaging comes in a pre-used box :) 
• Any animal materials used in my art are ethically sourced aka collected at my local city farm where I volunteer or from friends' pets. (E.g. feathers or reptile sheddings that have naturally been discarded or lost by its owner.)
