Frequently Asked Questions

Things you might be curious about.

Where do you get your animal materials from?

First off: I'm a vegetarian and I will never hurt any animal in any way, especially for some materials. Hence, any materials coming from animals, like feathers or reptile skin sheddings, are collected *after* the animal dropped/shed them. Most of the time I even know the animal personally if it's chicken feathers or repitle sheddings, because they're friend's pets or from my local city farm where I volunteer.

In summary, I can say they are sourced ethically and no animals came to harm.

Do you ever paint people?

My passions are flora and fauna (aka plants and animals), so that's what I will paint mostly, but I also paint/draw architecture, food, items, etc.

The only thing I'm not good and comfortable with is drawing human anatomy and thus humans, so if you would like a custom portrait of a human being I advise finding a portrait artist who have the necessary skills.

That said, I dabble in human character drawings etc. but they are far from perfect. If you're curious what they look like, I do have some photos on my instagram feed. (And if you find, you like those humans I drew, then sure, I'm happy to discuss some custom art of humans beings with you.)

Where do you ship to?

Fully handmade items etc. that I ship from my home studio are currently UK only due to US tariffs, Brexit, and EU shipping regulations.

Any items that are fullfilled via Print-on-Demand partners, you will need to double-check but they normally have several printing locations around the globe. (I try to make sure it's obvious if it's shipped by myself or a POD service. But if you have any doubt, please feel free to reach out and ask me.)

Where are your products manufactured?

All handmade items are made by myself in my home studio in England, UK.
(FYI: This is a cat household, so please be aware of that in case a cat hair or whisker finds its way into your order! My Cat Crew works hard to ensure only purrfect products are being sent out.)

Any of my designs that are printed on Print-on-Demand items are made and fullfilled from one the printer's printing locations around the globe.
I try to make sure to test the quality of all the products I offer, so they are to my own satisfaction and thus will hopefully make you happy, too.

Are all purchases final?

Custom art orders are final once paid in full as they take more time to create. However, if you have an issue with your order or there are any special circumstances or reasons why you would like to cancel (or even return an order), please contact me and we can discuss the best solution.

What is the return policy?

My aim is to make you happy with my art, so if there's a problem or you're unhappy with it, please let me know as soon as possible (latest 1 week after you received your order). I will try my best to find a satisfactory resolution with you.

In cases of asking for a replacement, it depends on the item. Fully handmade items take time and might need special materials to make. Also, completely handmade items will always have at least slight differences or variations to one another.

In any case, it's always worth reaching out to me and chat about possible solutions. I will try my best to help!

Why does my parcel/packaging look used?

I like to re-use/upcycle wherever feasible and a lot of carton boxes used for packaging/shipping arrive in great condition! Re-using those varied boxes also allows me to select custom packaging sizes that fit your order better.
Of course, if I don't already have a good box in the right size, you will receive your order in a brand new box.

How much does shipping cost?

Shipping is calculated based on your location and the items in your order. You will always know the shipping price before you purchase.

When will I get my order?

Depending on the nature of your order (custom-made, POD, etc.), dispatch time can vary quite a bit.

I will try and ship orders as quickly as possible and make sure to give at least an estimate for delivery time. If you need an order sooner, please reach out and I will see what I can do to make it happen.

Once your order has shipped, you will receive an email with further information. Delivery times vary depending on your location.
