Hope - Original Watercolour Illustration

Inspired by Ukraine and my love of sunflowers, this little illustration was a simple, in-the-moment creation. "Hope" is a constant feeling ringing loud and true, today probably more so than ever.

The brightness of the sunflower illustration sticks out greatly on its black background, the shimmerign blue border and handwritten "hope" in calligraphy silent companions, not bright highlights but always present in the dark.
